Kenya Kigutha from Kiambu

An amazing full bodied Kenyan, this offering is from the Kigutha Estate, which grows mostly Bourbon varietal coffees. The first thing that comes to mind when sipping this coffee are black currant notes which give way to elegant red wine and plum. Honey-like lemon as it cools in the cup. Kigutha lies in the growing region of Kiambu

Roasting Notes: These beans are well processed with few defects to be found. As with most quality Kenyans, roasting beyond Medium forces the complex acidity right out the roaster's exhaust pipe. We recommend a City+ roast to preserve the unique wine notes.
