This Maragogype-Pacas hybrid is an excellent example of the exotic, multi-dimensional character buyers long for in the "elephant bean" varieties. Spicy, tropical flavors of guava and mango abound, with sweet herbal finish.

This is a naturally (dry) processed coffee that was grown in the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua on the Mierisch plantation at an altitude of 2,500 feet Red Pacamara (a hybrid varietal) and Maragogype are combined to make "Pacamara".

Roasting notes: These are Hard Beans, which means you can take them dark if you wish and they will hold up well. Medium roast is where we like them.
