Rwanda Nyamwenda
Rwanda Nyamwenda from the COOPAC coffee cooperative is outstanding. Cultivated on the slopes of northern Rwanda’s volcanic mountains above Lake Kivu, the rich soil, high altitude, and abundant rainfall yield a stellar coffee. This is a fully washed Grade A bourbon, Fair Trade coffee.
Cup Characteristics:
Dark chocolate body, citrus and lemon-lime acidity, sweet with nice depth and complexity... great balance.
Roasting Tips:
Roast it too light and the flavor is like sweetened-lemon tea. It holds up well to a dark roast and can be used as a high-note component of an espresso blend.
