Ethiopia Harrar

High Quality Green Coffee Beans

Ethiopia Harrar

Ethiopia lies in the high plateau region between the Nile plains of Eritrea and Sudan with altitudes up to 4,600 meters above sea level in the Semien Mountains. The Harrar region likes in the Eastern Highlands and is one of the main coffee growing regions in Ethiopia. Harrar coffee beans are typically natural, or “sun dried” processed which produces distinct berry-like notes in which the region is best recognized for. This particular lot is no different.

Cupping Notes: blueberry, gold raisin, stone fruits, vanilla. Silky body

Roasting Notes:  Try and be gentle with the heat, if your roaster control allows, otherwise the beans tip easily.  If there are no heat controls on your roaster, you can try adding some extra beans to the maximum batch size of the roaster which should have the same effect as lowering the heat.
